FAQ for Kenly Park in Kenly North Carolina:
I was walking by at night. It was nice and quiet. I think it needs to be lit up some for safety reasons
Nice spot but very buggy when we were there. Bug spray worked at first but not for long.
To be an older complex it was average, I really have a problem when you have to pay a ten dollar admission and they have no concession open!! If nothing else call some food trucks. When the schedule is made the families should be notified if concession will be available or not.
This is a wonderful place to visit. There’s a paved trail for walking, running, cycling and skateboarding. The people are very friendly. The parking area is smooth with loose gravel. I’ve been teaching my grandsons how to ride their bikes. Come on down and visit. FYI.. The park tends to be busy on the weekends for youth sports. The games are great to watch
We went there for a baseball tournament and the bathrooms were beyond disgusting. I would bet money that they had not been cleaned in months (maybe all year?). People had brought their own toilet paper in because there was no toilet paper or paper towels, the doors were completely covered in smudges. I can’t even describe how disgusting the toilet was – blood and feces all over the inside. The floor was disgusting and the place smelled like feces. The bathrooms I have used in third world countries were cleaner. I wish I had taken pictures. And I wish I had gotten a tetanus shot before I went.
