FAQ for Wild Florida Drive-thru Safari Park in Kenansville Florida:
We saw this on Florida on a Tankful on our local tv station, and decided to run over. It is about 55 miles from our home in the Melbourne area, easy and fun drive. We only did the drive-through safari, but it alone was really fun. You drive up, pay at the gate, and take the tour. In miles, it is close to four or more, at less than 5 mph with much slowing and stopping for pictures, it took at least an hour. I felt like I was in a Disney movie. The animals were very close, and wander across the road. Twice we stopped, once for a camel, once for some large cows. There are water buffalo, elk, zebra, many animals I had never seen before. Well worth the 25$ Florida resident admission, per person.
A lot of fun! Wish we had planned more time in our day to do all the different things! There are bigger excursions that look like a lot of fun if you have the cash, but small things to do inside that are low cost or even free. We watched an educational shows, visited the petting zoo, walked through the aviary, and fed gators! Florida residents also get a NULL discount! We bought our tickets online
My wife and I really loved this park. You get to see so many different animals, the staff are pleasant, professional and helpful and facilities are clean and orderly. Our boat captain Curtis did and excellent job showing us around on the water 👏 The drive tru zoo is a nice thing to do as a family. You can also feed the 🦒 Would recommend as a family trip looking at nature and animals. The alligators are super cool and loved to see the huge alligator Crusher
This park was awesome! we have been to one other drive thru zoo in Arizona but this one takes the cake. much more land for the animals to roam. They even look happy very nice place, nice variety for sure kids had a blast. Kids feed the giraffe named Levi and loved it! Very fun experience.
Wild Florida is a must see!We drove from Tampa to Wild Florida. We purchased a Groupon that had a lot of goodies attached to it. The drive through safari is so much fun. We had lunch and the portions are huge and the food is tasty. We saw the alligator show, and the weather was hot but perfect. We fed the giraffes (this is extra) but very affordable we paid for both kids to feed them. This place is huge and like a little Busch Gardens but more affordable and interactive. We also fed the birds (this is extra as well) and all very Affordable. My 6 and 10 year old were in heaven because everything was a “yes”. We also got to hold an alligator and take pics with him. They have animals we’ve never seen before with a very informative pamphlet.
