What an adventure. I’m afraid of heights so I was nervous.
Food and music and drinks at top of mountain was cool.
Each way is 25 minutes.
Beautiful views.
Went for the ride n dine event full five stars from staff and food was amazing ended up picking approx 1gallon of huckleberrys. Also very dog friendly.
Very unique experience! Tickets were a little costly but we could ride all day if we wanted. We didn’t make a reservation so i was surprised we were able to take a ride. This is something I’ve always wanted to do. Pretty awesome that it’s the longest gondola ride in North America. Staff were amazing. The food in the restaurant at the top was delicious. There was a bounce house for kids and some other fun things to do. A scenic ski lift was also available to ride. Rode over a small street with house which was cool! I plan to make this an annual adventure!
Spur of the moment decided to go to Silver Mountain and go on the gondola. It’s a 20 min ride to the top and 3.1 miles. It is smoother ride than you would expect but slowdowns or stops do make for a little apprehension. I could contribute this to loading or unload bikes and not any malfunction.
If you are afraid of heights, it might be a little nail biting especially with how high up you are going. As someone who does suffer with that, the scenic view is breathtaking and the fresh crisp, clean air at the top is 100% worth the ride. Also, for me, the trip down was easier than up
I’ve been wanting to ride this gondola for several years now and it was a fantastic experience. We rode on Thursday June 26 and it was not crowded, scenery was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Even got to ride lift #3 for same price. Food was good at the Gondola house at the top. 5 minutes off I-90 definitely worth a stop. 25 minutes one way so allow 90 minutes minimum.
