A wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean intersecting with the Big Island of Hawaii. It’s a family-friendly location. We enjoyed seeing and hearing children playing in the safe beach area nestled behind a rock jetty. We believe a wedding party was also celebrating in the pavilion.
This is the cleanest beach park. Free too, no need to pay NULL admission. Plenty of fish for snorkeling. Look at the pictures
This beach looks amazing and it’s awesome for swimming hanging and viewing. Grass, sand, and pergola and parking well worth checking out. Great beach!
Beautiful park. Limited wading behind a breakwater but no access to the ocean. Once you get there you’ll quickly see why. Huge breaking waves crashing over exposed rocks. No beach whatsoever. So no snorkeling, surfing, boogie boarding, kayaking, etc.

We sat and enjoyed the view. The waves are amazing even on the two calm-day visits we’ve made.
If you scramble out onto the breakwater you can get up-close to the breakers.
It’s a long way from Kona or Hilo.

Beautiful views and very peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the rocks and watching the waves. There’s not a lot to do here, but it would be the perfect stop for a picnic and restroom break. You can walk in the protected water area, but it doesn’t look great for swimming.
