First time there loved it! Not as much as my dog!!
Nicely maintained. Friendly pet owners. Seperate areas for small and big dogs. Nearby restroom.
Pet owners, Please keep in mind that leashes can cause anxiety towards other dogs. Allow your fur babies to run free.
Most of the time, this is a good experience and I never write bad reviews. But, today I went, and every so often there are irresponsible dog owners who bring reactive dogs to any park, and this park is no exception. Today is the second time I’ve seen a very reactive dog at the park with other dogs. Unfortunately for me, my dog and I were mildly attacked after only being in the park for less than 2 minutes. My dog was sniffing on the opposite side of the park with me and friendly greeting other dogs. I say mildly because no blood was drawn or bite marks but the dog repeatedly shoved my dog down and was NOT playing. My dog was so scared I picked him up and tried to leave immediately but the boxer/pit mix kept jumping up on me to get to my dog who was frightened…lots of barking from the other dog and drooling and I had to keep putting my body in between my dog and the boxer/pit mix because I’d rather have something happen to me than my dog. Never going to this dog park again. It’s just not worth it on the off chance something happens now knowing that reactive dogs are brought here. Thank god this wasn’t a worse outcome, but certainly a HORRIBLE experience and would recommend to exercise extreme caution when coming to this park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of shade, room to run, friendly dogs & conscientious owners. Well-stocked with dog toys & water bowls. Easy to find once you realize that you have to drive through the back gates of the golf course & just keep going straight until you see it.
So excited to have a dog park on Windward side!
