WDFW Modrow Boat Launch Dog Park in Kalama, Washington

The WDFW Modrow Boat Launch is a scenic location in Kalama, WA offering access to sandy river beaches and beautiful views. Could be a really nice spot if people took better care of it. Every time I’ve been here people have left bags of garbage, broken lawn chairs and water toys. I try to pick up as much garbage as I can on my way out.

A little difficult to pull out of with a truck and trailer but very enjoyable, safe and quiet.

This is always a great spot! My kiddos love it here. There’s two rope swings, we love to catch crawdads and pretty decent fishing. Only reason I give it four stars is because it can get really crowded and people leave a lot of trash.

This boat Launch is nice with sandy beaches along the river and good views. Great spot for photography with also some other near by Cool areas.

Beautiful little launch, not a lot of parking but ample for the area. Restroom was an added bonus.
