Located right in the heart of Kahoka, Missouri, Kahoka City Square Park is a popular community space that provides a welcoming environment for families and dog owners alike. The park offers amenities including a playground, swings, a gazebo for shelter, and plenty of green space for resting or enjoying a picnic. It’s a great destination if you are searching for a pet-friendly park in Kahoka where your dog can join you on a walk or relax outdoors.
While Kahoka City Square Park is not a dedicated or fenced dog park and does not have specific off-leash areas, dogs are allowed in the park provided they are on a leash. The park is wheelchair accessible, features a newer playground for children, and is known for its beautiful shade from recently planted trees and the central gazebo—making it an inviting place on warm days.
Great place to take kids during the summer they have a basketball court but you got to bring your own ball.
Not a dog park. Nice playground for children but retains water really bad. Don’t wear your good shoes.
Theres not much on the square anymore as far as businesses.its dissapointing. The park is very nice with a newer playground with a busy amount of different toys. There has been a attempt at safety. Thete also have been several trees planted on the square. Maybe it will become the shady place from years past.
Great place for resting and eating. For kids to play on.
It was wet and rainy the day that I was there so the playground wasn’t usable but the gazebo was dry and allowed me to relax well my daughter was at the shaking rink enjoying herself.
