We love going to this park to walk around and feed the squirrels. There’s usually a ton of them but we only saw about five today.
Great place to walk, enjoy the outdoors, serene, a chance to escape the noise of the city. I love it, so does the puppy.
Park is kept very clean, has great accommodations for boaters, children, picnicking, holding party events, dog walking, leisure walking around paved circle that follows the waters edge allowing you to see many variety birds, if lucky snakes my granddaughters got a kick out of seeing them, black and gray squirrels, play groud for children, and of course great spot for fishing. They have rest rooms but do supply portable with one that support use by disabled. Hope this helps and you enjoy as my family and I do.

“Joppatowne Park is a lovely spot for a peaceful stroll and some wildlife watching. The fishing is decent, although I found myself more entertained by the playful squirrels and charming ducks than reeling in catches. Nonetheless, it’s a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.”
