The mountain bike trails at Pittstown are fun but very challenging. Lits of old school rocks and roots to keep you honest mixed with some new flowy sections as well. DEC State Forest so you can camp or have a campfire after your ride! Hunting is allowed so be careful during deer season. Check out the saratogamtb website for a map.

I went here today on Juneteenth
I used Google maps to get here and it was really good. When I got here, I was the only car at about two o’clock. The trail matched the map I got on line perfectly. Now the interesting part. Roots, Roots, roots. Oh, did I say roots? It was almost non-stop. At a certain point there were a lot of rocks, which was a welcome change. If you come, be aware that it will be an incredibly bouncy ride. There were a lot of roots.

Nice woods, lots of trails. Good parking too.

Technical and rocky terrain that makes it fun and challenging for someone who has full suspension and feels confident on a bike. Not a huge amount of mileage here but you will get tired. Also, bring a can of bug spray! For dogs make sure they are OK around horses since you may run into horses once in a while.

Great trail system l, especially for Mountain biking. Hiking is also excellent with lots to see, no real vista’s however.
