🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions

Wildflower Walking Trail offers dog owners in Jim Falls, WI, a pet-friendly trail experience tucked alongside the river. This scenic spot is perfect for those looking to combine dog-friendly hiking with beautiful wildflower viewing in springtime. The location is known for its easy access to the water and picturesque picnic areas, making it a versatile spot for both relaxing and active outings with your furry friend.
The park provides amenities such as plenty of parking, picnic tables, an open (but not enclosed) shelter, and a boat ramp for river access. While the trails provide a peaceful retreat, dog owners should be aware that parts of the trail can be overgrown and there’s some poison ivy, so appropriate footwear and attire are recommended. Although there are open areas and river access, the park is not fenced and is not exclusively a dog park, so always keep your pup leashed unless local guidelines permit otherwise.
Don’t go on the overgrown parts (pokey and stingy) at least make sure your wearing good pants and your arms are up

The actual trail not the one that goes towards the water for kayaking is not well maintained, about 2 minutes into the walk, it gets overrun by poison ivy. Do not recommend unless ut gets better maintained.
