Monroe Lake Wildlife Area
Monroe Lake Wildlife Area is a serene and beautiful spot perfect for walking dogs and enjoying nature. The park offers plenty of woods for running dogs and features a nice lake with fishing opportunities, though fishing success may vary. Camping was previously allowed but is now prohibited. It is also a place that is good for kids, with a peaceful environment to explore.

Hunted some seen others fishing. But seen evidence of otters so question the fishing.

Nice lake, looks like a public range with nice steel targets, shore fishing wasn’t the best that day.
A great place to walk your dog and quite. However, it’s a shame the shape of the road leading back inside where you could camp prior to camping being prohibited. Quite a beautiful place though and serene.
