Good service by attendant, but not allowing non US cell phone numbers for QR code access for payment is a pain. It pretends to work, but I don’t get the text message. And customer service also cofirmed that only US numbers work.If you need less than two hours, you can also park for free across the street. But visiting the islands by boat may exceed two hours.
This parking lot is located in a park just like the name says it.It is huge and has ample parking lots.We used it to take the boat ride to Ellis island. There is quite a bit of walk to the ticketing area and boarding zone. The washrooms are located near the boarding zone.In case if you are planning to take the boat ride, please be prepared for airport like security check-in
Great price and friendly staff. The lady that worked on 6/24 went above and beyond to get us checked in with our large motorhome and car. She had to walk all the way to the back of the lot in scorching heat and she still had a smile on her face and treated us kindly. Would use this parking anytime.
Buy tickets inside official is better. Go to New York Sunday is all free park all day anywhere!
