Marin Green Dog Park is a popular, clean, and well-maintained dog park located at 485 Marin Blvd in Jersey City, NJ. This dog-friendly space features artificial turf that drains extremely well, making it an excellent choice even right after it rains. It’s an “all sizes welcome” park and frequented by a friendly, attentive community of pet parents, providing a welcoming environment for both large and small dogs. The dog park is situated within the Marin Green area, a pet-friendly spot near the heart of downtown Jersey City.
One unique aspect of this dog park is its overall cleanliness, with reviews often noting how well-kept it is compared to other local options. While the fencing keeps most dogs safely contained, there are minor gaps that might concern owners of especially tiny pups or those who enjoy playing fetch with tennis balls. Keep in mind there is currently no on-site water fountain, and shade is minimal, so remember to bring water and consider a visit during cooler parts of the day. The park is reported open 24 hours, though occasional locked gates have been mentioned; always check before you visit.
Super clean dog park
It’s says open 24 hours. Unfortunately gate was locked 😟
Nice park, small-ish, but a-ok for our pup. All sizes welcome, and pet parents all friendly and pay attention to their fur- babies. Drainage is great after rain, a big plus!
All sizes dog park with a great crowd. Always clean. The turf drains really well, so this is the 5* choice after it rains.
But there’s no water fountain / hose. And the gaps in the fence are just big enough for a tennis ball to roll through without being big enough to reach an arm through to get them. Also not that there’s very little shade, so make sure you bring water!
Very nice and clean turf dog park. I wish the fence gaps were smaller though because a tennis ball or tiny dog can easily go through them.
