i love this place! i really wish they’d open one up in suffolk county. aside from the vast selection of groceries – the extra bonus for me is that they have a pretty nice little house plant section on the way out. if you catch them after a restock you may find variegated string of hearts, string of pearls, etc.

H Mart in Jericho is my go-to spot for fresh, high-quality fish at some of the best prices around. The seafood section is always well-stocked, clean, and inviting — you can see the freshness for yourself right in the display.
I especially enjoy their salmon steaks, which are consistently fresh and flavorful. The branzino here is excellent as well, and the silver and golden pomfret are another favorite — all handled with care and priced very reasonably compared to other markets.
While my main reason for visiting is the seafood, my wife loves browsing their aisles for other treasures. She’s particularly fond of their spicy sauces, which have become a staple in our home cooking.

Awful place. Terrible service at the food court I waited 40 minutes. I order squid and pork and gave me the smallest pieces of pork. They gave 3 slivers and I went to ask for more and said the “manager” said this is normal portion. Terrible place don’t ever go to the food court. Absolute joke
This HMart is really spacious and has a large parking lot, food is fresh, and there’s a food court and a bakery inside. They also carry a wide range of Chinese products, which is great if you’re looking for specific items from home. I had a pretty good shopping experience. However, one of the Chinese-speaking female cashiers didn’t seem very professional. After scanning a small bottle of soy sauce, she casually tossed it aside. If I hadn’t caught it, it might have broken. She also seemed unsure during checkout—at one point, she asked me to hand back an item she had already scanned, maybe because she forgot to ring it up properly.
I still like coming here, but I hope the staff can be a bit more careful and better trained.

They allow you to order ahead for large platters. It is recommended if you are throwing a party. 🎉
