I had a great time with my daughter Amanda exploring this area. So many beautiful views. Whether atop the bluffs or down on the beach you can enjoy the stunning views, chill out, enjoy a picnic, take a hike.
It was the filming location for the last scene in Goonies where the Goonies are reunited with their parents and the pirate ship sails away in the background.
It is also referred to as Bodega Bay.
This has gotta be one of the wildest and most beautiful places on the Sonoma Coast, and that is saying something! There are bathrooms there are hiking paths. There’s no place to look that isn’t absolutely beautiful.
