Super gradual hike of about 45 minutes gets you to a rock out outcropping overlooking a glorious valley. Hike through alien and fir with 30, yes 30 adorable forts. Wildflowers galore right now in mid June.

Great conditioned trail that is part of the Colorado Trail. Went here to see the fall leaves and was not disappointed. You can hike out ~2 miles along the trail go get spectacular mountain and valley views. Plenty of parking available, don’t be discouraged if you see a lot of cars on the way here since this is really popular but this trail had barely anyone on it for how many cars there were.

FYI: Trail cyclists use this trail too so please be considerate and move out of their way if they pass. The trail isn’t wide so this can avoid crashes/confrontations. NO PUBLIC RESTROOM. Think the campsite bathroom is closed for the season when I went so you’ll have to use nature if it calls.

An easy hike just off 285 over looking South Park. A good place to stop and stretch your legs and probably see a moose depending on the time of year. Of and the Vista are spectacular.

Nice gradual hike. Some great views about 30-45 minutes up the trail. Dog and kid friendly. Some restrooms available. Parking available, but can get crowded in peak season.

Unfathomably beautiful marigold toned aspen trees enveloping like a sea all around 💛 the trail begins at what seems like a campground- just keep following the trail uphill and after about 30-45 minutes of trekking, you come to a clearing with expansive views down toward South Park and of the trees strewn through Kenosha Pass itself. All in all, it is a moderately intense hike that is extremely rewarding!
