Whether you’re hiking with your dog or exploring the diverse environment, the park’s natural setting promises picturesque vistas and an engaging adventure for both humans and dogs.

Beautiful park! My husband and I really enjoyed the hike around the lake and the top of the cliffs. We didn’t realize it would be a true HIKE with rocky/dirt trails, but we loved that. Some other parks we’ve been to were paved or pretty smooth dirt paths so this was a higher, but enjoyable activity level.

Very unique hiking experience. A lot of different terrains. We went on several different trails, the Swamp Trail was marked with dark green paint that was hard to see a lot of the time. That trail was also narrow and rugged with rocks and roots, we had to stop quite a few times to gather our bearings. The playground here is small but really unique too, and the jids enjoyed it. Definitely will have to go back and check out a few more of the trails now that I know more what to expect.

Very easy to access the blue trail. Couple rocky spots just take your time and find the path. It’s easy to want to hop down big rocks but the trail swerves to make it easy for everyone
Best view is the scenic look right of the parking lot

A wonderful park to go for a hike! We didn’t expect so much climbing up and down rocks, and were ill prepared in the shoe department. We will definitely return better prepared!
Update: We came better equipped this time and decided to try the Swamp Trail! Be prepared for bugs, climbing rocks, and some spots of mud. Still a great experience!
If I had to suggest any improvement for the park, I would add a difficulty indicator for each trail. Some trails are much more walkable than others!
