A quaint little park that was very quiet when we visited. It has alot of history that a placard briefly touches on, but you don’t quite get the full scope of what this place once was.
It’s a nice place to have a picnic or sit of the dock with friends. There is a nice playground and plenty of space to walk a dog.
This is a beautiful park on the lake and is a nice honor to its namesake. The iconic aspect is the bronze statue of the great lady placed at the southern edge of the park by the entrance from the parking lot. It’s a well-done piece and a great photo op. But beyond the statue, Lake Chataqua, on which the park rests, is a beautiful view. The park’s green space is well kept and peaceful. There is a terrific playground and a building with restroom facilities. It’s a relatively small park but a great visit to get a photo with Lucy. At the same time, you can let the kids get some energy out on the play equipment, eat a quick picnic lunch, relax in the shade of the multitude of trees or stare out over the lake for a while.
Cute little park by the lake with playground, picnic tables, restrooms. Lovely old lighthouse and beautiful views of the water.
Beautiful park with light house and 2 statues of Lucy! Clean bathrooms and lots of space to enjoy a picnic at a table or on the lawn
A small park close to the childhood home of Lucille Ball. There are two statues of Lucy in the park as well as a small replica lighthouse, the Celeron Lighthouse, and a playground. It seems to also be a popular place for fishing.
