We have now adopted our 3rd rescue dog from the Humane Society of Tuolumne County. They do a wonderful job of placing their rescues. Our newest is a wonderfully affectionate boy, that is going to make a great hiking buddy.

This was the best experience we have ever had. Harley, now Hetch, loves his new home and we are over the moon in love with him already. He is super playful and Hella smart. Potty trained at 4 months, knows so many words and actions, and very eager to learn.

The staff here was AMAZING! I was determined to leave with him and they allowed it to happen. He’s my best friend and such a great addition to our family.

Staff was friendly & helpful.
Went with my son to look @ small dogs under 20lbs.
He Found one he liked, but unfortunately, if you live in Quail Hallow, Jamestown Humane Society feels the apartments are too small & wont let people adopt a dog.
Everyone has right to their opinions, but I feel the apartments are being judged instead of the people who want to adopt & give the dog a good home.
It would be helpful if the Jamestown Humane Society would post the “places” they don’t wish to adopt too.

These cat pics are of Salvador is was adopted from the Jamestown Humane Society in 2006. (His bday was 2002) He’s now 15years old.

A NO kill zone! And adoption will give you a coupon for spay or neuter if not done yet. All adults are altered unless they are adopted first. 100% sponsored shelter, helpful and loving to all. Food pantry for your pet if your broke!❤️❤️❤️✝️✝️✝️

Smoothest experience. I had been on the hunt for a service dog. I saw an ad posted for a spaniel mix and emailed the shelter immediately providing all necessary documentation. Drove down the next day and adopted my best friend. I’ve had Twister for over a year now. He’s traveled all over the US with me & has truly changed my whole life. The best travel dog in the world. Thank you Humane Society 💕
