Great building with great staff. The location is in a busy area, which is convenient but can be very loud at times.

The problem I have with this place it is supposed to be a smoke free building it is you are not supposed to smoke anything or anywhere in the or on the property but there is smoking in the building and on balcony I have complained to building managers but nothing is done they give you another apartment but the same problem people smoke marijuana and cigarettes and the smell is strong as soon as my lease expires I’m going to move out I had to contact my attorney it is in the lease agreement this a non smoking building smoke free

We’re very happy living here! The staff is really nice! From the first week they remembered mine, my husband’s, and my dog’s names!

This apartment complex has set the standard for the type of place I want to live at moving forward. So many wonderful things to say about my 2 years here.

The staff are PHENOMENAL! From the front office to the building manager, I truly felt taken care of. There were a couple times I locked myself out of my apartment, but our building manager Carlos was always prompt to help me.

The building is so quiet and it’s obvious that it was built with quality materials. Obviously, if someone is being excessively loud outside, that can leak in, but my apartment is truly my safe haven and keeps out 90% of outside noise.

I’ve never felt safer in an apartment. There’s security overnight and there’s electronic access to the building.

There’s a parking garage (for additional cost) available which makes things so easy and takes the headache out of trying to find street parking and the garage is connected to the building. I just park my car, and walk in and take the elevator to my floor. The parking situation is a little different though and it took a minute to get used to, because the parking garage is also shared with CVS and a medical practice in the area during the week, so often times the staff need to move your car from where you’ve parked it to optimize spacing, but a small inconvenience, as they are happy to move it again if you give them a heads up.

This complex is right off the F line, which goes to Manhattan and Brooklyn. There are also lots of bus stops within walking distance. There’s the Q3 bus that goes straight to JFK right in front of the complex! So the quality of transportation around this complex is wonderful.

The cost of the units feels fair for the space you’re getting when compared to other units in the area or in other boroughs.

All in all, I hardly ever take time to write detailed reviews, but I must give credit where credit is due. I’m only moving because I got a new job, but should I have been staying in New York, Q-east would have been my place of residence for a long time. I’m so grateful to everyone there who truly made it a safe place for me to live and thrive!

If you’re thinking about renting, I hope this review provided you with enough evidence to go for it!
