F.A.Q. for Tom Marshall Park:
Tom Marshall is a decent park. There is playground equipment for little and big kids. It’s usually a little dirty though. The picnic tables could use a good scrub down. The bathrooms are almost always locked unless baseball games or practice are occurring. Parking is also not great, as they keep the parking lot locked except for during baseball too. You have to park on a sidewalk usually.
I recently visited the kid’s park nestled amidst four baseball fields and overall, I would rate it 3.5 stars. The park is well-suited for older kids aged 5 to 12 and offers two covered awnings with picnic tables, creating a convenient space for families to gather and enjoy a meal. The presence of two playsets is commendable. The first playset caters to younger children, providing a safe and enjoyable experience. The second playset, featuring multiple levels and platforms, offers a more challenging and engaging play option for older kids. However, there are a few negative aspects that need improvement. Firstly, the locked bathrooms were inconvenient, and the absence of drinking fountains was disappointing, especially on hot days. Additionally, the lack of shade made it difficult to find relief from the sun. Moreover, the park seemed to have a significant fly problem, which was quite bothersome. Lastly, the parking situation was challenging, as finding a proper parking lot was difficult, resulting in parking on the side of the road.Overall, despite these drawbacks, the park provides a fun and suitable environment for older kids, and with some improvements, it could become an even better destination for families in the future.
Nice clean and safe. I enjoyed little league games. Clean restroom and concessions weren’t over priced.
From when I saw when I was installing new windows to the concession stand needs a little bit more weed eating in the infield but the major part of the parked look real good nice place to visit with your kids and maybe watch your ball game or two or get your kids to join if you’re in that neighborhood
Im giving 4 stars because this place really needs a public bathroom when the ball games arent going on everything is locked. This park is awesome for all age children. Alot of side walks great park other then not having a public restroom
