Sue is an absolute lifesaver. Our 40 lb Florida brown dog Marty loves coming to “Aunty Sue’s” for daycare and boarding. Sue provides complimentary baths and is very flexible with the plans, a necessary for our hectic schedule. We love The Barking Lot!
We lost our home in Irma and our 4 boxers and our doxie “The Pimp” were displaced. Susan, Brittany and Melissa went way beyond the call of duty in taking care of our babies. I’ve boarded our 70lb chocolate lab with Sue at the Barking Lot 3 times now and can say that I completely trust the Barking Lot to take good care of my pup while we are away. We adopted our dog from the shelter last year and not only did Sue take great care of our fur baby, but she recommended to us the right trainer to address his reactivity, and even taught us what to do differently to improve his coat. Whatever the Barking Lot lacks in aesthetics, it’s made up by Sue’s knowledge of and dedication to dogs. Make no mistake: Sue. Knows. Dogs! We will be back again whenever we need to board our dog in the future.
I cannot recommend the barking lot enough! We have a rescue dog who is very high anxiety, doesn’t always get along with other dogs, and is scared of everything, including some people. But Sue is an expert and so great with her! We’ve tried other places in Jacksonville, but no where else gives our dog the same level of attention and care. You can tell how passionate Sue is about animals immediately when you meet her. It’s so great to be able to relax on vacation knowing our dog is being taken care of by someone who is so knowledgeable and caring!
Sue is also very easy to reach and flexible – when we are on vacation we’re able to text Sue directly to check in on our dog and see how she’s doing! And she’s able to accommodate pretty much any time that works for us to pick up or drop off. The pricing is also very very good.
