Wind Tree Studios

Gorgeous park and playground with a cool dock, playground and river front bulkhead perfect for fishing. I gave it three stars for the limited parking area and no bathroom facilities.

Stinson Park is a small park on the Ortega River at the foot of the Ortega Bridge. There’s a paved sidewalk that meanders through the park, ideal for a casual stroll. There are benches to relax and take in the lovely views of passing boats on the river. If you’d like a longer walk, you can walk across the Ortega Bridge over to Ortega. It’s a pretty park and a nice walk. The parking lot is small and it’s often packed after 5pm on weekdays and on weekends.

The park is well laid out and has a little playground. Great views of the river. Lots of squirrels and some birds. The only downside is that there often times seems to be some sketchy characters that hang around the park and every time we have been it seems to be quite crowded. It’s also very small. But nonetheless it’s a good park.

I took the family out for fresh air and beautiful scenes. Across the street there was the St.Johns river, which you could see some of downtown across the way, some people were fishing. I would recommend coming by and relaxing.
