It’s a nice park with lots of shade, which is great, but I didn’t feel completely safe because of the tall trees. I noticed some had fallen, and it feels risky—especially during strong winds.
Super cute park my toddler loved, nice walking trail around the whole thing also. Lots of open space. Minus one star for all the trash laying around though
My kiddos and I explore parks around Jacksonville, and found this little playground right by a school. We had a fun morning, love that it had a walking trail and playground with lots of shade. The only downside was there weren’t any trash can near any of the picnic tables, or playground, so there were trash all over the place. If you are looking for some fun parks with playgrounds around Jax, check out our page on Instagram @littleexplorers.bigworld
How about not advertise a dog park when there isn’t one there. Misleading when there is a chart on what hours are busier than others on any given day.
It’s a very nice place! Tall pine trees surround the playground, and it’s so peaceful and quiet out there. The playground is great for different ages. There are no restrooms, though. The parking lot is perfect. And also there are beautiful trails near the playground! The only thing that I didn’t like was trash on trails. The woods are really beautiful, but the plastic bottles and other stuff are just gross.
This is a great little park that is a lot less busy than the playgrounds right nearby has a major Trail/easy hike to the side, small parking lot, covered picnic tables and big area for kids to run. Good goto park
