Lea Loop Trailhead offers a spacious, scenic retreat for dog owners and families alike in the Jacksonville, FL area. This park features extensive pet-friendly trails, wide open grassy areas, and two large ponds, making it an ideal destination for off-leash dog fun and outdoor adventure. Not only is it a great spot for walking your dog, but its two-mile trail and beach access provide plenty of options for both relaxed and active visits with your furry friends. Locals love the peaceful atmosphere and friendly community vibe.
This dog park in Jacksonville is noted for its large off-leash area, which does not separate small and large dogs, allowing all dogs to mingle together. Benches and seating are available, as well as a dog wash station with a pool for rinsing off. While there is no separate area for small dogs, there is ample room for all to roam and play, and paved paths offer easy walking around the park. Shade and covered seating are limited, and visitors should be aware that restrooms may be locked outside of game days and there aren’t public water fountains, so be sure to bring water for you and your pet. Trails can be muddy after rain, and ticks can be present in wooded and grassy areas – come prepared during warmer months!

It’s amazing out here. You can take anyone here, even you’re pets. It’s a great park. You may fish or swim but cannot swim up front. Have to walk like a mile down to go swimming. the air is clean. It’s a great environment and peaceful.
This is a really nice trail to walk. The area is a mix of open fields and trails thorough the woods and around water. There’s some trash but not near as much as other parks in Jax. We plan to go back and explore the area some more. I was surprised at just how much land the park covers.
Nice place to walk and walk dogs best have found here riverside and oceanview. Very family orientated and felt safe here.
Great place to take the kids. Can fish, walk, play basketball or just let the kids play on the playground.
