This park is a hidden gem, offering plenty of activities for kids and families alike. Shaded by tall trees, it’s nestled between two community centers and sits adjacent to a local swimming pool, giving you a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to other amenities. The play area features vibrant, colorful equipment designed for kids, with multiple slides and climbing options. While some parts may be more suitable for older children, my little one still had a blast on the slides and the various climbing structures. There’s also a large net-climbing section and a spinning ride that adds more variety for active play. The park is well-maintained, with a soft surface beneath the playground to cushion falls. Another bonus is the proximity to clean restroom facilities, making it a convenient stop for families with younger children. It’s a great spot for an afternoon of outdoor fun, with the surrounding trees providing plenty of shade to escape the Florida heat. This park truly has something for everyone, from the playground to nearby sports facilities and even the swimming pool right next door! Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a well-rounded family outing.

I’m here new to the area on a hot Thursday afternoon looking for a play ground, swimming pool or splash pad for the kids now that school is out but no this is the third park. I’ve went to where there is really nothing to do but just stand or sit in heat this sucks. There is a pool that looks like it hasn’t been used in forever. There are two large pavilions with grills by the restroom area. There is a baseball field basketball and tennis court. The playground is not built yet so no one can use it at the moment. There is plenty of parking at this park. A indoor place that they used as a library but now can be rented for private events now that library has been moved. This park also has a nice size dog park and a beautiful pond view. You can fish at this location with license. I’m hoping to see some improvement in the near future. A lot of things need to be maintained.

The National Cemetery has no trespassing signs up in the City park? What gives?

We did a rocket lunch with the Cub Scouts, great time. The park is nice and open hand has a nice shaded picnic area.

It’s a nice little roadside park. It has a decent playground and lots of open fields to fly kites, fly model planes, play kickball, play soccer, etc
