That is a fantastic dog park. So vast and lush with trees and bushes. There is a concrete path snaking around. Areas of sand for the diggers.
Well shaded dog park in an odd corner of the park. The ground cover is mainly pine tree needles, no grassy area, lots of sandy soil. I was particularly looking for a dog washing station which I didn’t find if it did have one. Other a few benches for owners and dogs alike. Water fountain available. Near some basketball courts which wasn’t being used at the time of day I was there. People there were friendly
This is a wonderful park for big and little humans and furry friends. The playground area is completely covered which is very nice especially in the Florida summer and they have lots of different tunnels and slides that the kids can play on. Also there is a wonderful nature trail you can walk along and Waterfront fishing with a beautiful view and it just is a great place to go to and we taking our kids there multiple times and will continue to.
Well it looks like they finally clean this place up a little bit All the branches are picked up and it’s been raked The walkway’s been cleared off and it’s been fairly decent shape. Thank you city of Jacksonville for paying a little bit of attention to it. We always like coming here and so do the dogs
