It’s a nice park, but people driving over the grass having already a moderate parking lot, and poor trash keep, there is plenty of trash cans but people don’t used then.

Awesome little park in Ortega that’s somewhat “off the beaten path.” It’s a big circle with a walkway all the way around the park and in the middle there is a big wide open area. So it’s great for walking, taking your dog out to play, etc. and there is plenty of space for kids to throw a football, baseball, or kicking a soccer ball. It would also be a great place for kick ball and things like that because it’s in the middle of a neighborhood without many cars coming by that often. And there’s plenty of parking.

We had a great time at the playground and field, was a really nice place to bring my boys to play and ride around the giant loop of a sidewalk around the park

It’s a good park and lots of space, it’s just not maintained well with the rusted grills in place. But besides that kids had tons of fun running around.P.s I’ll add more photos later

A circular park with some seriously old live oaks and magnolia.A few benches but no picnic table.

Overall the park is a little run down and lacking a spark of care and consideration from its keepers. It does have great promise though, with its children’s playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, outdoor gym, large soccer and baseball fields. With a little rejuvenation, it could be a great community recreation park. The sidewalk that winds around the perimeter of the park is great for walking little dogs and people watching.

The park has a very open layout with a baseball field, tennis court and kids equipment such as slides and etc. Directly next to Garden City Elementary Bathroom with basketball on school property but has public access. Jacksonville Dixie Blues practice there a few days a week so come show your support for Duval’s Pro Women’s Football.

Nice little secluded park for reading or a quiet walk. Not great for much more than that. There is a perimeter sidewalk and a few benches. We love riding bikes through Ortega’ s neighborhood.
