I wasn’t impressed. The bathroom has no toilet or sink, a lot of trash around, and a person with 3 big dogs living in a truck in the parking lot. The trails were ok but a little treacherous in places. The waterfall is ok but we never did find the pond!

The hiking trails were poorly marked, making it hard to navigate the hiking trails vs the mountain biking trails. There is a building that used to be a bathroom but is no longer operable because the sink and toilet have been removed. There was a lot of litter and trash on the trials including an area that looked like someone had been sleeping next to what looked to be several stolen moving boxes.

Excellent set of short walking trails – with actual terrain! The Waterfall Loop Trail goes to a set of small waterfalls – rare in Florida. Be advised, there really are a few steep spots on these trails and in some spots that trails are narrow. These areas would pose a challenge to people with mobility issues. There is a lot of plant and habitat diversity here. It was a fun place to birdwatch. ID’d a yellow-throated vireo, red shouldered hawk, tufted titmice, Cardinals, a brown thrasher, Carolina Chickadees, and northern parulas. There is a bathroom at the trailhead. Decent sized parking lot. I wouldn’t consider the trails to be wheelchair friendly due to some being narrow and the steep terrain areas.

Love love loooove these trails. Just wish they would mark them better. Might have gotten lost a couple times, but the waterfall was worth it. Make sure to bring a good pair of hiking boots and a walking stick if you have one.

Loved this hike but seeing all the trash made me sad. People need to learn to appreciate nature and not trash it! With that being said… it was still a Beautiful Hike! I liked the challenge of the inclines… Definitely gave me a workout! Make sure you wear good shoes when doing this hike. Also if you ride bicycles you will love this trail.
