If you are looking for a campground with genuine owners, this is for you! My husband and I were camping under a unique situation and everyone could not have been more accommodating!
We were selected to adopt an infant in the NICU at a local hospital. They let us drop our trailer and told us to spend time with our son. We had no idea how long we would be staying and they were so understanding and kind.
Our 5 year old loved the pool, play ground and mini golf! The store is very nice and all the amenities are clean.
We can’t wait to make camping at Butterfly Campground a regular trip for us! I will forever be grateful for the kindness.
Our maiden voyage with our Travel Trailer. There was a problem with TT gas regulator. I ordered on line and delivered to my brother’s house. He received it and brought it out to the park. When he got to the park they charged him NULL for him and his wife to come into the park and bring the part to us at 1130 in the afternoon. They were in the park for about 15 min. Unreal, we will never return and tell all RV people we run into about our experience.
Very unhappy with how Butterfly handles cancelations. We have reached out by phone and went up in person, they would not let us in! We gave a deposit, contract says they can keep NULL of it of we cancel. We are fine with that! Unfortunately they are now completely ignoring us in order to not give us the remaining balance back. Such a shame that they are breaking contract and being unprofessional over NULL.
THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR CONTRATCS
We put a deposit down before they even opened for the season. So no real loss there. Three days later, something came up and we could not longer stay. We left multiple voicemails, drove up in person and they would not let us past the gate. They said we had to make an appointment, but will not return calls to make this appointment. We gave them a deposit of NULL, their contract states that they can keep up to NULL of that if we cancel, which is fine, we were ok to take the loss and honor our end of the contract and just get the NULL back. They CHOSE not to do the same and honor their end of it. It has now been almost two weeks and not a single return call from this campground. So unbelievably disappointed in how unprofessional this campground has been.
This place is so cute! First of all the store that you check in at has everything and anything you can possibly think of, (except coffee creamer). Melissa is so helpful and sweet, as well as the other employees that worked there.
The bathrooms! I have never seen cleaner bathrooms and showers at a park or campground. Even my son was impressed by how clean the showers were. There was just enough people without being too crazy but still had a lot of fun. The pool was well kept as well as all the other areas on the grounds. We really enjoyed our time at Butterfly Campground and will definitely be coming back.
