It’s a beautiful walk away from the hustle and bustle. Unfortunately lots and lots of horse manure on the main walking path. Wear old sneakers
And if you walk on one of the smaller ‘offshoot’ paths, check for ticks afterwards.

Simple short walk and lake views. horses to

Purple heart trail did not disappoint. It has a sandy trail that’s shared with horses. The view of the lake from several vantage points including a raised platform is great. There are several off shoots to make ur walk even longer. Tons of wildlife in the area.

Nice walking paths, however some areas are not passable without going thru mud.

A great and quiet place in the middle of Jackson. Nothing for infants or toddlers. Anyone over 4 should enjoy the walk. If you want to do any of the complete circuits bring water and wear appropriate foot gear.
