What an incredible little dog park!! It is absolutely perfect!! When you consider it’s on a little island and it’s in the middle of some pretty high-dollar homes, the fact that they continue to use the space for a dog park is awesome!! The dog park itself has a very nice brick walkway entry as long as you’re going into the big dog park, to get to the small one you have to walk across the sand! There are two separate watering facilities as well as one in the double-gated entry area. The small dog park is basically just a long rectangle with nothing in it. But the big dog park has some agility items as well as a few trees and what appears to be benches that are meant to seat either tall medium or short people? The actual dog park is mostly sand but grass has grown in in a few spots to take over. It is definitely well taken care of and you can park real real close

Mixed feelings. First off, I am grateful for a dog park, as they seem to be few and far between. There are play structures and balls everywhere, and a drinking bowl with automatic water. There is plenty of fencing/gates in place to make sure that the dogs are safe, which is my number one priority. There is also a separated run space for smaller dogs, or maybe even dogs that need some exercise but shouldn’t necessarily be in with the others.

However, the dog park is mostly dirt and sand. I wanted to be able to take my puppy here for a daily energy expenditure, but after going one time, I see this will only be a special occasion stop… Like when he will absolutely need a bath anyways/I don’t care about the back of my car getting destroyed/I have an extra hour on my hands to clean up the wake of destruction after Bark Park… that kind of special occasion.

It’s also not busy. We were alone for about 15 minutes, until a couple showed up with two dogs. I was told everyone shows up around 5pm! So if it is socialization/playtime you want for your dog, that is the time to go!

Very large gated dog park with a smaller area for smaller dog. Very friendly people who go there, too! A lot of parking in front of it and along the street too. 🙂
