I stopped at the river at Mack’s Inn, Island Park, Idaho one morning on my way to work because I wanted to watch the osprey fishing. The birds did not disappoint. I spent 10 minutes watching them, and I watched four osprey catch fish and carry them off to their nests. I saw a few pelicans that morning as well. What I found amusing was the fact that there was a fly fisherman in the river, and he wasn’t catching any fish while I was there, but the osprey were catching fish. 😁
