Nestled in the heart of Irvington, New York, Memorial Park is a well-loved community space perfect for both relaxation and recreation. While not officially designated as a dog park, the park’s scenic trails adjacent to the Old Croton Aqueduct, expansive green areas, and tranquil pond make it a popular destination for pet owners seeking dog-friendly hiking and pleasant strolls. Local residents appreciate the ball fields, tennis courts, benches, and beautiful views—and it’s a great spot to connect with nature or spend time with family.

For those exploring the outdoors with their dogs, Memorial Park offers peaceful walking paths, attractive landscaping, and access to the Aqueduct trail, which is favored by both hikers and dog walkers. While you may spot wildlife like deer and birds, as well as art installations and waterfalls, it’s important to note that formal dog-specific facilities such as fenced or off-leash areas are not present, and some park rules may restrict pets in certain zones. Nice park. Good tennis courts and other facilities.

Nice, well maintained ball field right off the Old Croton Trail. Didn’t see rest facilities but there was a building at one end where there might be. Fresh, clean water fountain near trail entrance. See if you can spot the fake boulder.

A very nice place in general, bring your kids or anyone to have a fun time with tennis, soccer, baseball, or even a little game of catch! A little downside is that you are not allowed to bring pets and that the place is not maintained that often lay therefore the bathrooms are kind of low quality
