Located at the southwest corner of E Ayer and Bonnie St, Iron King Dog Park is the perfect place for local pups to stretch their legs and socialize in Ironwood, Michigan. As the only dedicated dog park in Ironwood, it features a secure 6-foot fence, double-gated entry, and a spacious area (about an acre) with plenty of trees for shade. Whether you’re a resident or just passing through with your furry friend, this dog-friendly spot welcomes dogs big and small for playtime and exercise.
Regularly stocked with poop bags and equipped with benches and picnic tables for owners, Iron King Dog Park focuses on convenience and cleanliness. There is no fee to use the park, but donations are appreciated to help with its upkeep. While there isn’t a separate area for small or large dogs nor dedicated water fountains, you’ll find a welcoming community and a well-maintained environment amid Ironwood’s scenic landscape. Please note, accessibility may be limited for those using mobility aids, and there are no restrooms on site. Prepare for a bit of mud during rainy seasons or snowmelt!
Small but nice dog park, only issue i have is that its not very handicapped accessible, brought my mom and her dog here and i had to walk with my mom to the bench because her walker wouldnt fit through the gate
Small park but nice. The fence is secure, double gate at the entrance. There is supplies to clean up after your dog. Lots of mud by the entrance, so be prepared. Overall, it was a nice space.
Good dog park(only one in the area actually) about an acre big. Poop bags are usually provided, picnic tables and benches provided. Double gate. 6ft fence. No restrooms. No fee, donations welcome.
My pup needed a place to stretch his legs ans socialize. He had a good time running, playing and sniffing butts! Has solid fencing and gates. Plenty of space and trees.
So thankful to those that built this dog park! We are from IL and were so grateful to have this area for our Aussie to run and play!!!
