Miners Mountain is the top of the hill. Great views, restroom, little else. Miners Mountain Rally Center is half mile before the hill. It’s way bigger, ground zero for the Mountain bike trails. Lots of parking, swimming, picnic shelters, grills and restrooms/changing areas.

The road to this overlook is now paved, has its own parking lot, and has a new wooden fence perimeter but I was disappointed to find that the view of the lakes is 50% obscured by overgrown Birch trees.

Great mountain bike spot! Just know if you are a beginner, stay away from the elevated areas of this park. Cuyuna has a ton to offer, but anywhere that looks flat is safe for you. Ask around; people are friendly and happy to assist, just ask detailed questions and share your skill level clearly. You can get very seriously hurt on even the intermediate trails as there are almost-sheer cliffs. We spent 6 hours seeing all the trails that we wanted. This specific area favors higher skill levels. Absolutely do not come here 24hrs after a rain for your own safety!!
