Excellent accommodations. Festival has really grown since my first visit in 2013. Keep up the good work!!!
John Meeks Park is an idyllic piece of paradise in the Idlewild area. Named for my paternal grandfather, this park hosts cultural events like music festivals. I highly recommend this park to visitors for some rest and relaxation.
We’ve been coming up here since 2015 for the Rhythm &Blues festival. Love the park love seeing people together having a good time. The landscape is changing 😔 if you know what l mean.
Attended the Grier Music Fest there and it was absolutely amazing!! We were able to put up our tent for shade even though the trees are nice and full…and just sit back and relax!🥳🎉 Fried Fish was great and the Live Band!!
John Meeks Park was the home to the Idlewild Juneteenth Festival, a Free Family festival hosted by HITS, Inc. Mr. John Meeks was very instrumental in assisting the committee with securing the Park Free of charge to help promote positive activities in Idlewild!
