I always love coming out to this spot. It’s down some dirt roads and the end of the road where the parking is can get a tad rough during wash outs in the rainy season. Short hiking distance and time. Always worth it! Beautiful view. Plenty of cliff side rocks to picnic on.

Very short flat easy hike. Quiet. No trash. No graffiti. Had it completely to myself on a Sunday afternoon in early September. Good spot to eat lunch or read a book or take a nap if you are in the neighborhood.

Very easy trail… takes about 15min off of paved road to get to the parking spot, then just follow the signs for the trail. Wonderful picnic spot!

An easy 1.2 mile in hike, relatively flat trail that’s well maintained. Views are amazing, but be careful not to get too close to the edges.

Be aware that the road from 23 is a 5 mile gravel road, the first 4 miles are good for gravel roads but the last mile is a little rough.

This is a nice place to hang out. It is a short hike from the parking area. If you don’t want a go down the gulch, please take the trail by the gate (if you take this trail, this is an easy hike). If a person takes the trail right behind the parking area, this does take a person through the gulch. The gulch trail does offer many more interesting things to see (this trail is a moderate hike).
