Coindre Hall Dog Park is a spacious dog-friendly area located on the Long Island Sound featuring a large open field and beautiful views. Although it is not fenced and dogs are required to be on leashes, many visitors bring their dogs to swim and play. The park offers wheelchair accessible parking and onsite parking, but it lacks bathrooms, fenced areas, water fountains, and seating. It’s a great spot for social dogs that enjoy open space and water access, but visitors should bring their own water and be mindful of leash laws.

Closed during the summer weeks? Wish they posted that online somewhere.

Not really a dog park more like a parking lot with a field. No bathrooms and no access to the actual water possibly due to construction. There is no fenced dog area. Most people have their dogs off leash which is illegal. The views are the best part. They should have a port o potty or somthing.

Very cute park with a big open field and beautiful view. I just wish there was a bathroom and a way to access the water.

I don’t know why people are saying that this isn’t a dog park. Lot’s of people bring there dogs here to play. Also, someone wrote that there is no access to the water. One reviewer said it is closed on weekdays during the summer. Both are not true. It is located on the Long Island Sound. I’ve been bringing my dogs here for 23 years. While it’s true there is no fence, if your dog is a roamer, use a leash. That being said, this is a gigantic field with access to the Long Island Sound and is boarded on both sides by woods. My newfoundland loves to swim here and play with all the other dogs. Like any dog park, don’t come if you have an aggressive or fearful dog or one that does not play well with others. Otherwise, this is probably the best park for dogs in the Huntington area. Bring water on hot days.

It’s a dog park that doesn’t have a fence and also requires leashes and lastly does not allow dogs. Nice, haha
