Very narrow unmarked trail but at least it’s not too overgrown and easy to traverse. Google maps shows some of the trail but other parts are not marked. Overall, I would say it’s an enjoyable hike. My dog and I did about two and a half miles but we could have easily done 3 and a half if we took some other trails.

Nice area for events. Trails at least right at the beginning are very hilly!

This dog-friendly park is large, and the trails are nice to walk through in the spring and fall. There’s a lot of small wildlife to observe, and I have fun every time I visit.

However, I wouldn’t recommend walking here in the summer unless you own a bug hat because of all the gnats, mosquitoes, and other insects swarming near your face and body.

The trails, as nice as they are to walk through, are unkempt. Therefore, watch out for ticks. It would be nice for the county to fix these trails to make them easier to walk through.

A girlscout just re-did the trails for her gold award and it’s now AWESOME! She cleared trails, clearly marked 7 in different colors so no more getting lost, created a digital map and posted the QR code for the map at each entrance. There are nice, clear signs to orient you in the park now. This is a beautiful setting to walk for a few miles and take your dog along in a peaceful setting. Real hidden gem.
