I wish they could make the dog run park open to everyone… I broke down and paid the fee… Only to find out it is not good for a year, but only January to January… So I paid NULL for maybe a month of use as we don’t spend the winters in town… Just saw this in the paper rules… I wish I was rich and could laugh about this… 😕

You would think that someone would care for the dog park as they charge NULL a year to use it. The big rubbish bins are full of stinky old crap because no one comes to dump them out, which, you guessed it, makes the place full of bugs. I don’t mind paying to use the park, but like everything else in this town, you pay a lot for subpar. Other than the dog park, I haven’t used most of the park so can’t speak of it, other than it is a large park. Noticeable lack of trees, so don’t come on a hot day, no shade at all. I’ve never heard of a park with no trees but this is far from a tree friendly community.

My family enjoys and visits often! Great park and picnic areas, dog park (you have to be a member) but the playground, bike track and skate park are great for the kiddos. I don’t suggest letting kids go unattended as it sometimes a hand out for a rougher group of teens and big kids.

I’ve had 2 issues of my son getting bullied here, so not a fan of that. The first time a kid kicked my son in the chest and the second time 2 kids, 8 and 10 was not giving my son his cap to his water playing keep away.
