Beautiful and peaceful Christmas morning walk enjoying the presence of our Good Lord. Even got to see a young eagle fishing down the river. Jesus is Lord and Savior! Blessed

Evergreen Park offers a tranquil walking area just outside the city of Huntington. The walkways are well cared for and it is not unheard of to spot several species of birds and wildlife. I’ve included a photo of a cute little snail crossing my path on a warm summer morning.
Pretty nice little park/walking trail. Even in the winter time it is nice and maintained.
This is a great little spot to take a walk. They’ve made an effort recently to really spruce the place up. The large wildflower prairie that the path surrounds attracts a good amount of butterflies. My favorite part of the walk is the old Evergreen Manor cemetery filled with sunken unmarked graves of former residents of the “poor farm”. It overlooks the Wabash river and is very peaceful. If you live nearby, it’s worth checking out.
