This is a short but very scenic trail, perfect for a quick walk when you want to enjoy some fresh air without committing to a long hike. The path is easy to follow, surrounded by peaceful views of the water and plenty of spots to pause and take it all in. What makes it extra special is that it also seems like a nice little spot for fishing—quiet, calm, and tucked away just enough to feel like a hidden gem. It’s a simple trail, but one that’s worth checking out if you want relaxation, a touch of nature, or even a chance to cast a line.

A great place to walk. Smelled a little in the parking lot from the porta potty

The only thing the humble nature trail is good for would be collecting a bouquet of poison ivy. If I could have given this place, a zero out of 100 I would have. There was no access to the water where you did not risk of breaking both your legs.

Super pretty flowers lining the trail. Good creek for fishing or letting ur dog/kids play. There’s also a field with a pavillion and a pond, which I believe has a small boat launch, big enough for a kayak, maybe. The railroad nearby can be really loud, though. Very nice walking trail.

This is a perfect family-friendly trail. My one year old walked it with me (slowly) and loved it. It is so beautiful right now as the leaves are changing and falling. Walking by the river makes you feel further away than you are. When you reach the second bridge, you can see the train go by through the hill. This would also be a great trail to jog. For now, it’s a beautiful spot for fresh air and exploration with a one year old. There’s also a large grass area when you enter to play fetch with your dog or have your kids run around. There are no public restrooms, but the portapotty was clean.
