Beautiful. Well maintained even in the Winter. The scenery is gorgeous and the trail is moderately challenging. In the snow it’s a perfect hike all the way around Chad’s Trail. We can’t wait to go back.

This is a great place for a easy/moderate hike with the family where you can see abundant wildlife as well. We live just a few miles away and enjoy it very much. Tonight we walked “Chad’s Trail” and saw a few deer, a Northern Brown Snake (pretty sure), many frogs/tadpoles and even walked up on an adult black bear, who gladly moved along without incident. Prep for ticks though. Like most places anymore, they’re a part of life here.
