Nestled in the Montrose neighborhood, West Webster Park offers a cozy off-leash dog park in Houston, Texas, perfect for pups and their owners seeking a more intimate, community-focused experience. This friendly local park features a dedicated off-leash area where your dog can socialize or play in a secure, fenced environment. With a beautiful open grassy field and a children’s playground on the opposite end, West Webster Park is ideal for families with both two- and four-legged members, providing something for everyone.
Amenities include street parking, a water station for dogs, seating for owners, and simple waste scoops for cleanup, making it a practical and pet-friendly destination. However, shade can be limited during Houston’s warmer months, and there’s no separate area for large or small dogs. West Webster Park dog park is generally well-maintained, though cleanliness can depend on visitors’ diligence, so bringing your own waste bags is recommended. If you’re looking for a peaceful alternative to busier Houston dog parks, West Webster Park’s welcoming community might make it your neighborhood favorite.
Small intimate park great for dogs that get overwhelmed one thing I would change would be the lack of people’s responsibility to pick up after their dog.

Cute little dog park. There is a water station and scoops for dog messes. Can be a hit or miss from most of my experience. One hour it’s completely empty, the next you’ll have 5-8 other dogs. There’s not a lot of shade of your going doing the summer afternoon so be aware it’ll be hot. Awesome for fall weather. Plenty of seating.

This was not a cool dogpark. The location is pretty bad and parking seemed limited even though I was the only one in the dogpark. I guess people in nearby apartments use up all the available parking. There’s a nice grassy kids playground next to the dog park so maybe it would be worth a visit if you’re taking the little humans to the park. The dogpark itself was just mud and gravel. It’s pretty small and there were no poop bags or trashcans inside the dogpark. It looked like there was bags and trashcans outside the park but still odd. I would recommend going to Johnny Steele Dog Park instead.
