Located in the heart of the Montrose neighborhood, West Webster Dog Park is a popular community destination for dog owners in Houston, Texas. This small, intimate dog park boasts a friendly atmosphere where local pups and pet owners can relax, socialize, and enjoy some off-leash fun. The park features dual entry/exit points on both the north and south sides, benches for comfortable seating, water access via a hose and fountain, and street parking available nearby.
While this neighborhood park is beloved for its convenience and close-knit vibe, be aware that the ground is mostly dirt, which can become muddy after rain, and there is limited natural shade and no covered shelter. Pet waste bags and trash cans are provided outside the park, but users are encouraged to be responsible to keep the park clean and pleasant. Besides the dedicated dog area, a children’s playground and open green space are adjacent, making it a family-friendly stop for a variety of activities in central Houston.
I think the place needs love. It’s unfair to the locals and their furry friends that it is in this status.

Great little dog park. All dirt is the only downfall, especially when it rains. Decent lighting at night. In a quaint little neighborhood. A few benches around the perimeter as well so you’re able to relax while your pup runs around. No restrooms nearby. Two entry sides on both the N and S side of the park. Trash cans and doggy bags on both sides. There’s also a hose and water fountain on the N side.
