I absolutely LOVE Houston Bark & Daycare! I’ve been going to both the Maxie and Energy Corridor location and went once to the Shepherd location, since 2021. I can say that my dog, Lizzie, loves all the daycare locations. They have cameras so you can see your dog during the day. The boarding is great as well because you can rest assured that your dog is being cared for. Every time Lizzie comes home from daycare, she is spent and has a very long and hard sleep.
The staff is very friendly and are very reachable by phone. I recommend Houston Bark Park to anyone looking for daycare or boarding for their dog!!

Absolutely amazing doesn’t even begin to describe how great HBP is . The sweetest, friendliest, attentive workers. Archie gets super excited when he knows we’re going to daycare. Archie always comes home exhausted from having such a fun day. Academy training has improved his confidence and behavior. My pup loves HBP , best decision ever!

Great daycare and boarding facility! It was my first time leaving my newly adopted Great Dane to go on a weekend trip and they took absolutely great care of my baby when I was gone! I LOVE the cameras so I could watch what he was doing and check in with him every day on my trip. I was especially neurotic about leaving him and had lots of specific request for their staff about his care and feeding and they were so kind and worked to accommodate as much as they could for me. I truly appreciate it! Heads up, there is a bagging fee for not bagging food if you’re going to board your dog. It was my first time so they were gracious enough to not charge me, but good to know for anyone doing boarding. If you opt to have your dog attend daycare during his/her stay, you are required to do daycare every day, it’s not a la carte where you can pick and choose what days to put them in daycare during their boarding. All in all would recommend this place for any boarding/daycare needs! 🙂

My partner and I adopted our dog Missy back in January and we needed a place to leave her once we began working due to her high energy. We first tried a different daycare and it did not go well. She was constantly stressed, refused to go inside the daycare. We then decided to give Houston Bark Park a try. At first we were nervous due to her reactive nature, but she did good at daycare. She loves going to Houston Bark Park and the workers there know how to deal with her personality and are always honest with us with any concern they have. I love that they do break time and do not allow the dogs to rough play. They also offer an academy program, in which she occasionally attends and seems to enjoy it as well. Before attending the academy program, she did not know how to play fetch and now she does. Her recall skills have also improved. Also, the crafts they do at academy are so cute. I always feel comfortable leaving her here.
