If you’re seeking a quiet, neighborhood dog park in Houston, Campbell Woods Park is a convenient option for a peaceful visit with your pet.
Nice little park. Playground is old and pretty simple/basic, but easy for a 2/3 year old to get on everything. Lots of shade throughout the day with 7 benches and 3 picnic tables. There’s a small field to kick/throw a ball. We saw several large butterflies here.
Surprised nobody else was here the entire time we were.
To make it better they could add a water fountain, trim the dead branches on the trees (please keep the shade), and update the playground to something newer/more complex?

You can tell that this park isn’t well maintained. It could use some love! Half was fenced, the other not. The small playground needs a little work. There are metal patches on the playground equipment which doesn’t make sense for the heat we have. This park would be ok for older kids, but wad definitely unsafe for my toddlers.

Good little neighborhood place. Walk the dogs there at times when it is empty

Great little playground, a couple of picnic tables. Tiny park in a quiet neighborhood. On street parking only.
