Desoto Dog Park in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas

Desoto Dog Park is a popular gathering spot for dog owners in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, known for its friendly community atmosphere and easy convenience. Visitors can expect simple parking, a double-gated entrance, separate off-leash areas for large and small dogs, and plenty of benches for relaxing while pups play. The park is well-lit for early evening visits and features a water spigot to ensure dogs stay hydrated, making it a staple for regulars and visitors alike in the Hot Springs pet community.

While the park offers essential amenities, it is situated on a former parking lot, so there’s no grass and the ground can be quite wet or muddy, especially after rain. Owners didn’t control their dogs. Mine is non aggressive and it was pack mugging mentality.

Very busy with lots of happy dogs and nice people. Glad there are signs because my GPS isn’t accurate!
Adding more data. Always wet. No grass. Shade is by shade cloth. Too hot to use in the summer. Some times of day it is very crowded. So crowded either a dog or a person will be seriously injured.
The Village should be ashamed to call this a park. The dog park I have at home is an acre and a half. It has splash pools for the dogs to cool off. It has trees and grass.
The Village dog “park” used to be a parking lot. No grass. It is a cat litter box. ?.00/ year for what?
