Excellent park for kids throughout the day, lots of seating, spaces and shady areas, access to the little stream where kids love to play. Equipment is well-maintained, slides are good enough for 2 to 3 year olds, but still entertaining for 6-7 year olds. Unfortunately, no public restroom. Some nights music is organized and all the neighborhood giants together with lawn chairs and enjoys the park.

The playground in Hopewell Park is one of the best around. It has a giant castle with many slides and climbing instructions for kids older than 4-years old. For younger children, they can stick to one area of the castle but I would supervise. There is also a small swingset with one swing for kids with special abilities. The playground is set in an idillic section of the park, partially shaded by trees. There is also a large pavilion and several picnic tables.Behind the castle is a path with a bridge over a stream that connects to a short walking trail. It took me about 15-min at a leisurely pace to do the loop which connects beck to the play area.
